HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. Be safe if you are going to be out and about tonight. My DH and I will be going to our daughters house for a bit. I love spending the last day of the year with my family. I'm sure the grandkids will have things for us to do.
I am hoping to have a great year with my TAC business and have a Happy Stamping Year. Stop by and visit often as my blog is going to be a main focus for me.
I will be doing a segment on here. It will be Thursday's Tech's. I will have the directions and a sample of a technique every Thursday. I will also debut to you a filing system for techniques that I have been using and teaching for over 2 years now. That will happen this Thursday. See you then!

Sharing a Class Card!

I am working on my class cards for my different folds class on January 7th and 9th. Here is one of the cards I did. There is directions to it on the Scor-Pal site but I simplified them by just folding. I know I should do the Scor-Pal since TAC is now going to be carrying it but my class is next week and I have no way of getting it before then.

This is the front of the card. The ribbon is holding the card closed.

Here is a list of the supplies I used on the card:
Cardstock: Matchmakers Apple Green #2 V102
Blue #1 V108
White
SWIC Tutti Frutti Paper Collections V826
White Grossgrain Ribbon
Stamp Set: Oh How T2808
Palette Ink Pads: Chartreuse TT210
Reflection Blue TT205
Noir TT220
Crop a dile Tool

This is the card opened. One thing I did was stamp the saying before I put the holes in for the ribbon. Ooops!!! Should have done the holes for the ribbon first. That is why I make one for a sample. Gotta get the kinks out. There is a lot of ideas to do with this card but I went the easy route. I do that because we will be doing several different folded cards and I want them to get the folds rather than a lot of stamping done.
Hope you enjoy the card. It was fun to do.

What a Productive Day!

Not that it was stamping related but I got all of my Christmas decorations down...inside and out. I also got the whole house cleaned and back together. My last load of laundry is in the dryer...probably done and waiting to be folded. It's only towels...it can wait!
I decided to come downstairs and "veg" on the computer. Then I decided I wanted to stamp. I really want some of those new stamps out of the new catalog. I do have one. It was one that was offered as a sneak peak back in October for having a FUNshop over $250. Below is the card I came up with. I do love the style of this stamp set and I am glad to see more like it in our new catalog. Here is a peak at the card:

Here is a list of the supplies:
Brown Cardstock
Robins Egg #2 Cardstock
Palette Burnt Umber Ink
Palette Noir Ink
Versamagic Sahara Sand Ink
Stamp Set: T2808 Oh How
Stamp Set: T1205 Wishing You
All Stamps, Inks and Cardstock are from the TAC catalog.
I used the Sahara Sand pad to distress the edges of the cardstock on the butterfly and the piece that says Happy Birthday. The softness of the chalk pad really works well for distressing.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card. Let me know if you would like to order this new stamp set. It will become available January 2nd along with the rest of the new stuff in the catalog.

Cleaning out Cards

Since we are making the transition to a new catalog I thought I would clean out some of my card samples. I came across these cards I did when these sets were new to the catalog. I thought they were cute and decided to share. They were easy cards of course. Since I'm tired of seeing Christmas cards I thought I would put something different up.

This card is done with the TAC set Baby on Board. The words are not in that set and I can't remember which set it is. Anyway a quick a cute baby card.

This is another card using the Baby on Board set. It makes a cute card for someone that just found out she is expecting.

The little purse on this card is from the stamp set How Swell. It is also a set for babies. It's a real cute and I thought I would do a card doing just a fun card with it. Again the words are not from this set.
I have been working on some other things but unfortunately I can put them here. They are for the Paper Cuts section of Paper Wings which is a Forum Site for Demonstrators Only. If you are a TAC Demonstrator and do not belong to Paper Wings yet just click on this address and join. http://paperwingsonline.com You will have to answer a couple of questions and then will be notified when approved.

I had to Stamp!

I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to get into the ink. Here it is the night before Christmas Eve and I am playing. It feels pretty good actually...LOL
I have been looking at all kinds of sites on the web and saw some Sketches that I loved. I forget where they were...I should write that stuff down. Anyway I made a card by remembering a sketch I saw somewhere. It may not be the exact thing but hey...it is my version. Since Christmas is basically over for cardmaking I decided to do a "Snow" card. I love Snowmen and like to make cards in January and February with them. Here is my first "Snow" card of the Winter Season.

This is a 5" x 5" card. I used some odds and ends patterned papers and cardstock I had laying around. I also used my 2" circle punch and the Mega Scalloped circle punch. The tabs are from a McGill punch that has like 4 different sized tabs on it. The pattern paper is cut 3" x 5" . Fast and easy card.
The stamp set I used was a TAC Stamp Set. It is T-2603 Tis the Season.
I hope you enjoy it. Give this card a try. It was so fast and easy to do. Just what I need right now.
Have a wonderful holiday if I don't get back here before Christmas.

Am I Ever EXCITED

I have gotten a sneak preview of the new TAC Catalog. Mine hasn't arrived yet but am expecting Monday hopefully. I did check on my order of catalogs and had a tracking number so I tracked it. They will arrive at my door on December 27th. I can't wait. Here is a picture of what the new catty looks like:

Isn't the color of the catty great? It looks nice and summery. The cover was designed my Peggy Bum gardner. She is a creative angel that lives in Oregon. Her upline is my very good friend Char Wilson.

I have heard many good things about the new catalog. Some of the Kansas angels that have gotten their catalog shared with us on PaperWings which is a forum site for Demonstrators. Email me at ritaholmes@fuse.net if you would like information on PaperWings. Remember you do have to be a Demonstrator to be approved.

Here are some of the things that will be in the new catalog:

All new Hostess sets and GWP's.

New Paper Collections:
Amberley Grace
Juliette
Miss Moxie
I can't wait to see these. I love all of our paper lines and know these will be just as good.

Accessories/Embellishments
Chipboard Coasters Scalloped and come in round or square.
Cardboard Recipe Box & Dividers - sounds awesome
Metal Hardware kit - approx. 300 metal pieces (bookplates, hinges, buckles, ribbon loops)
Metal Alphabet Kit
Tins - White candy tin, small square and round metal tins.
Scrap-O-Dex - like a rol-o-dex that has white sheets
DCWV Chipboard Stacks
Bind it All
Scor Pal
Scalloped Punches! Mega and giga circle and squares
Decorative Corner Punches

I am so happy about some of this stuff. The scalloped Mega and Giga circles and squares are just awesome. I love using these and am glad to be able to use them in FUNshops. The Bind it all...I have one already and have been wanting to use it. I already have a class scheduled to use this in January.

New Alphabet Stamps
Double Line Bet - similar to open chunky, less chunky and they have two lines going around.
Outline Bet - just like the Double Line Bet, but with one line.
Pattern Bet & Pattern Numbers - open alphabets with a doodle pattern (the A has some flowers, the H has some hearts...the P has stars, etc.)

I was so excited to get the message out about the new catalog. If you would like to purchase a catalog from me please email me at ritaholmes@fuse.net. You can also visit my website at http://ritaholmes.ismyangel.net/ after the first of January and vew the catalog online. You can also order directly from there and have it shipped to your house.

I will be back to share some cards soon. Thanks for looking and I hope you are excited to see our new catalog as I am.

Something Very Special to Me

I have a very dear friend who is handicapped that had a bad fall last month. She is coming along but has a long way to go. She is now in a nursing facility getting rehabilitation for her leg. She broke it in three places. I originally met Lisa through a yahoogroup 10 years ago for a Liver Disease that we both had just been diagnosed with. I asked the other members of this group to write Lisa a letter to let her know how we all feel about her and I made her a book with the letters. I would like to share a few of the pages I did. Lisa should be receiving it any day. I know she will love it and it will be a big inspiration for her.

Here is the front cover. I bought a 6" x 6" album and added ribbon and a flower to the front along with stamping Lisa's name on it.

I am going to share the page I did with my letter to Lisa. It so much says what she means to me. I love using the More Abundance Set from TAC to add something to the pages. You can say so much with these sayings.

This page was sent to me by another dear friend on our group. She knows Lisa loves Maine and she sent a picture of one of the lighthouses in Maine to add to her page. Working with a 6" x 6" book was a little tricky for this but it turned out nice.

This is the last page I will share tonight. I had several pages I did for the book but don't want to bore you.
I hope you enjoyed looking at the pages and see how easy it is to put something like this together. If you have someone that is sick or just needs some inspiration to move on; it is a great gift. I have done a few of them. You will get great comfort from doing it.

Christmas is a Week Away!!!

Are you ready? I have all of my shopping done and most everything wrapped. I got my Christmas cards out. I wanted to send a few more and hopefully will do that in the next day or so. If not...guess it is too late. I thought I would share the card I made for my downline. All of them should have received it by now so I will put it on here. I actually saw a similar card done by another angel, Shirley Hotop. I thought it was a really cute idea and had to try it. Thanks Shirley for inspiring me.

The front of this card is actually a piece of acetate. I have a punch of a Christmas Tree pop dotted onto the front of the acetate and then another one glued directly behind the pop dotted one on the other side of the acetate. That way you don't see the pop dots. I stamped the Merry Christmas onto the patterned paper. It really is a cute idea. The scan doesn't do it justice.
I am having some of my class people over tomorrow night and we are going to exchange cards and share some goodies to eat. It will be a nice change from having a class. I don't have to think...LOL
My classes will resume in January along with our new catalog. I can't wait!
Everyone have a wonderful holiday if I don't happen to make it back to post some more.

My SWEET early Christmas Present

It has nothing to do with stamping. It is one of the best presents you can get....A NEW GRANDCHILD. Eric Edward was born December 10th at 11:59 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 20 inches long. He has the most beautiful head of soft black hair. We thought his sister had a lot of hair when she was born but he has more. Here is a picture of him no long after he was born. The nurse gave him a nice bath which he didn't care for but it looked so nice and clean afterwards. I must say he is BEAUTIFUL!!!

He was so alert. I can't believe he is so new and his eyes are open for some pictures. Here is a picture of him with his sister who is 6 and his "big" brother who is almost 16 months. Yeap...little Eric was a "slip up" but a good one at that.

This is why I haven't posted anything. I do have some cards to post but another day. I hope you enjoy my little ones. I sure do. I better go. I have a class in 10 minutes and I should get off here. Thanks for looking!

Time for a Little Sharing

It feels like it has been forever since I posted. Time sure flies this time of year. I have made a few simple Christmas cards for last minute ideas. I thought I would share them with you. If you haven't started your Christmas cards and still want to make them these are the cards for that.

I actually made this card for most of my Christmas cards. I got the idea from a card that Mary Moilanen, another TAC demonstrator, had made. I love it. It was quick and easy which is right up my alley right now. The TAC stamp sets I used were Curls and Swirls and Be Jolly.

This was a very quick card we made in my class that was called "Last Minute Christmas Ideas".

Here is a list of the TAC stamp sets I used:
Wishing You
Christmas Fun
Curls and Swirls
Ribbon Borders
I used chalks to color the reindeer and used Crystal Lacquer on his nose to make it shiny and wet looking.
I used a regular piece of ribbon between the stamped ric rac ribbon.

My last quick card. I used TAC Merry Wishes Paper and the Spirit of Christmas stamp set. This was the fast card I believe I have ever made. You can sure kick these out in a hurry.

I have one more class this month and it is called "Just for Fun". We are going to do some "NON Holiday" cards. I figure everyone is eating, sleeping and drinking Christmas right now and need a break. I hope it is fun.

I will get off here and try to be productive a little. We had snow today and all I have wanted to do is lay around and be cozy. Have a great night!!!!!

I forgot to tell you about the Auction

I participated in an auction for cancer. It was really great. I was invited as a vendor to participate in the "Relay for Life" Cancer Auction. I have never been to one and wasn't sure what it was all about. It is called a "Quarter Auction". I of course as a vendor pay a fee to help pay for the room that is rented. It wasn't a lot...$15.00. I invited my guest list and friends. I had 19 people go...WooHoo. Anyway there was about 17 vendors which are all home based businesses. They had a variety. The admission to get in was .25 cents. You got a paddle with a number on it and then a matching number that went into the "pot". You could bid on the auctions depending on their retail value. The system was up to $25 you bid one quarter, $25-$50 you bid two quarters, $50-$75 you bid three quarters and anything over $75 you bid four quarters. I had to take 6 things to be auctioned. Five of the things I got the money that came in for those items. All of the money from the 6th auction went for "Relay for Life". I also had to take an item for a Chinese Raffle. I then donated a couple of small handmade items for door prizes. Here is a picture of my auctions:

Boy did I bring home a lot of quarters. $113 to be exact. It paid for the stuff I took to auction. The best thing is I got my name out there to many other people. I also got rid of a few catalogs and hopefully it will bring some business my way.
We had a great time and a lot of my friends and customers want to go back. This even will start up again in January and be the second Tuesday of every month through June. I will participate as long as I can. It is a good cause and lots of fun. If you live in the Greater Cincinnati area and would like to attend email me and I will send you the information.
By the way our table won multiple of times. The way you win is the "auctioneer" holds up an item and give a descripton and tells you how many quarters it is to bid. The runner "ME" has a container to collect the quarters at my table. When you place your quarter in my container you hold up your paddle with your number on it. The "auntioneer" will call numbers until he calls one that has their paddle in the air and they win. If he calls your number and you didn't bid, you say No Bid and he goes on. What fun!!!!
That's about it from me today. I am working on my Christmas cards and will share them shortly. It is another cased idea, which I have been doing a lot lately, but I loved it.

Black Friday

Who was brave and ventured out this morning? I did go to Michael's. I got a few good deals and it wasn't really bad shopping in there. I did wait until about 8:30 to go. I may venture out a little more later; just not sure yet.
I thought I would share some of my creations I did for my craft fair. Some of them were stamplifted and I can't remember where. I should have written it down but I don't want to take credit for some of the ideas.
I have seen this calendars around and decided to do one myself. I loved doing them. I only had two made for the craft show but sold both of them. I have since made some more to give to my grandkids and few of my friends grandkids.
This little card kit is made especially for kids. It is all set with crayons and all they have to do is color the images. It's a great stocking stuffer. I think it was Jen Carter on PaperWings who had some card kits made that gave me the idea.

The above picture shows the different images I put in the card kit. The picture to the right shows how I packaged it.

They were really fun to do. I also did them in 3 x 3 cards too. That's a good way to use up some scraps. Here is a picture of them.

I also made some 3 x 3 gift cards and put them in Christmas tins. I used some of the ideas from a recent swap I was in.

I bought the little gift tins at Michael's for $1.00. They were the perfect size for 3 x 3 cards.

I think they make a great gift to give when someone drops over and you want to give them a little something.
I also made some note cards. I bought a box of DCWV cards with envelopes and stamped them for note cards. I did them very simple and mixed the colors for sets. I have two pictures of these. One is the designs I put on the cards and the other shows them packaged. I put 5 cards in a set with the envelopes.

I hope you enjoy looking at all the projects I have posted. I plan on working on stuff this weekend and will be sure to share more.

Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to take time to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I have started preparing my meal for tomorrow. My kids and grandkids are coming over. It will be a nice time to have everyone around the table. Be sure to remember the things that have happened to you this past year and what you are thankful for.
I also wanted to ask for prayers for a very dear friend of mine. She is from Florida and we met through a yahoogroup many years ago. We have become very close friends and have visited each other numerous times. Anyway she has fallen and broken her leg in two places. She broke the femur bone right below her hip and she also broke right above the ankle on the same leg. She is a disabled woman who is amazing and she fell going to the restroom. She is confined to a wheelchair and this is going to be really hard on her. If anyone would like to send her a card please let me know. I will have the cards sent to me and I will send them to her.
Thanks so much!
I have plenty to share about my past week and will do that very soon.
Have a wonderful holiday!

A Good Weekend!!

I have been so busy lately. I was actually getting ready for a craft show. That was this past weekend. It went fairly well. I am so used to selling big items from the "Old" days of craft shows when I did tole painting. The ticket items were more expensive so it was easier to make big money. I did really well for the items I had. I also got a new customer who ordered and also sold 3 catalogs. Here is a picture of my table. I had nothing fancy but then again we were in a little farm town in Indiana. They sure come out for the craft show. It was a beautiful day and I had a good time.

I didn't have time to clean off my craft table before I left so I took a picture of it when I got home. What a mess it was.
Surely you agree...LOL!

As you can see I barely had any place to work. Maybe that is why I didn't get more done. Not really....I ran out of time. Now here is a picture of my table once I got it cleaned up. It won't stay that way long. As soon as I start stamping again I will have a mess. I can't seem to stamp on a clean table.

I have been invited to participate in an auction Tuesday. It is called a "Quarter Auction". All the proceeds go to cancer. I have to take two things to be auctioined for the caner program and then I take five things to auction and I get to keep the money from them. I also can have a cash and carry table where I can have my catalogs and items for sale. I am hoping to get some new customers out of this. We were aloud to invite all of our customers, friends and family. I have about 20 people going. I will have my own talbes so we can sit together. The way the auction works is you bid on the items you like. The bidding is based on the retail price of the items being auctioned. Here is the guide to bidding. Anything up to $25 in retail you bid one quarter. $25 to $50 is two quarters, $50 to $75 is three quarters and over $75 is four quarters. They have over 100 people that attend usually. It will be fun. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Here is a picture of the stuff I am going to auction.

It's Sunday Already

I can't believe it. My hubby was gone for the week and it sure went fast. I know a lot of people say they can't sleep with their hubby is away. Let me tell you I love having the WHOLE bed when he is gone. I have shared that bed for 35 years with him and I just love to spread out sometimes. I guess it is because I know he will be back. LOL I feel like I have accomplished a lot this week. Not only have I been stamping for my craft fair but also getting my house in order and doing some shopping.

Since hubby will be home this afternoon sometime I need to think about fixing some kind of dinner. He has been with a bunch of guys and he said they have eaten hot dogs and hamburgers all week. I asked him if he wanted a hamburger today and he said "%^&* NO!" I thought that might be the answer. LOL

Now for some sharing time. I was in Avis Anderson's holiday bag swap and got the cutest bag back. I am making them for my craft fair and also to do in my Holiday Gift Class. Here is a picture:

I used a brown lunch bag and typed the poem on my computer. I then stamped the Merry Christmas and the trees. I used paper from Hobby Lobby as I am out of our Christmas paper and since both are being discontinued I just used something else for now. I put a cookie mix in the bag and tied it shut and added a small cookie cutter for an embellishment.

Here is the little poem that is on the bag:

We made a batch of cookies
and ate just one or two.
We started feeling guilty
because they were for you.
We went into a panic
and ran right to the store.
We bought a brand new
cookie mix so you
could make some more!

Hope you enjoy this little project today. I thought it was fun and so cute. I have made some different images and used some different paper. I will try to take a picture of them sometime today and share them as well.
Have a great and blessed Sunday!

Good Morning

At least it is here right now. My grandbaby is asleep and I am checking on mail and catching up on some computer stuff. In about an hour I go and get a haircut. If I don't I will be named the new "Shaggy Dog". I can't wait.

I was going through some stuff and decided to share the project I did for my retreat for their name places. I saw something similiar when I was visiting Avis Anderson this past summer. Of course I had to do my own take on it and decided they would make cute place cards. It is a "Fibercino". Check out the picture. My nephew works at McDonalds and they sold me a sleeve of the Sundae cups and lids. I made an "X" in the lid with an x-acto knife to pull the fiber through. I made the place cards on my computer and punched them out with the Mega and Giga oval punches. There were a big hit. Hope you enjoy them. Feel free to take the idea and run with it for any event you may be having.

I am going to go and take advantage of a sleeping baby and get a few more things done before the haircut. I sure hope he wakes up on his own and I don't have to wake him to take him with me. I don't like grumpy babies...LOL

Have a great and creative day!!!!

Boy Have I Been Busy!!!!

I had a busy weekend. My house was screaming that it needed some cleaning so I listened and did just that. I also had a Team Meeting for my team, Designing Angels. I had a very good turnout and we had a good time. I also had two demonstrators that aren't in my team but I have adopted since there upline is military and her family is out of the country right now. I got all of them to agree to help me host my first Angel Gathering which will take place in February 2008. It will be held in Petersburg, KY which is right on the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky border. If you are interested shoot me an email and let me know.
I have also been busy getting ready for classes and trying to work on stuff for a Craft Fair I am in November 17th. I need more hours in the day!!

I haven't taken pictures or scanned anything but I will share an older card that I made for a class of Simple Cards.

This card is done with the Simply Divine Stamp set. What a cool set! I just love it. I stamped the flourish image in the Palette Noir ink. I made a frame by using a Mega and Giga Circle punch. To do this you punch out the smaller circle first and then center that into the bigger punch and punch that out and it will be a frame. Really easy way to make a frame. Anyway I made the frame and glued it to the front of the card. I then stamped the flower out of the Simply Divine set in the Palette La'Amore Red ink and then rolled the edges of the inked stamp into the Noir pad then stamped in the center of the frame. I stamped the Happy Birthday! from the Wishing You set in La'Amore Red. Card is done and didn't take a lot of time! Try it....you will like it. I have done them in several different colors and they all turned out really well.
That's about it from me tonight. I am going to see if I can get some Creative juices flowing right after Dancing with the Stars goes off. See ya later!!!!

My Little Book of Recipes

This was a class I did last month and I thought I would share it here. The book is made with the 3" x 3" Chipboard Book tht we carry in the TAC catalog. All papers, cardstocks, ribbons and hardware are from the Hemingway Collection on the catalog. We went ahead and made decorated a small gift bag and made a small gift card to go with the book. It makes a really nice gift for almost any occasion. Here are the pictures of the book and each set of pages. The last picture is all three items completed:

Here is the instructions if you would like to duplicate this little book. I'm sure you have recipes you can use but if you would like a copy of mine please email me and I will send them to you.

My Little Recipe Book

All pages have the corners rounded with a corner rounder. They are also glued with Fabri-Tac glue but you can use your favorite adhesive. The following is a list of supplies and the sizes I cut the papers for each page. All papers, cardstock, ribbon and hardware are the Hemingway Collection by TAC™. I also used mini brads, Crop s dile tool, Sizzix photo corner die cut, and flower punches. I used a Sahara Sand Versamagic stamp pad and distressed all the edges of the recipes and the computer saying for the front of the book.
Front and Back cover:
1 Gold print 2 ¾” x 2 15/16”
1 Gold plain 2 ¾” x 2 15/16”
1 Brown cardstock 2” x 2 15/16”
Round the outside two corners of each pieces of gold paper. Adhere to book. Mold the piece of brown cardstock over the spine of the book. Adhere to the spine after you have your creases in the cardstock. Add the words to the front of the book and use brown and beige ribbon for accents.

In all of the following pages you will fold the bigger piece of cardstock in half. Round all the corners and then adhere to the book making sure to get the fold of the cardstock into the fold of the book. Add the recipes to the pages when they are completed. .

Pages 1 & 2:
1 Dk. Aqua cardstock 5 7/8” x 2 15/16”
1 Aqua print 4” x 1”
2 ivory eyelets
Fold the aqua print in half. Adhere the eyelets to the aqua print paper. Adhere to the book with the center of the aqua print placed into the center of the book towards the bottom of the page.
Pages 3 & 4:
1 Lt. Yellow cardstock 5 7/8” x 2 15/16”
1 3” x 3” gold print cut at a diagonal so you have two pieces
Place the diagonal pieces opposite each other on the two pages. Punch two 1/8” holes in the side towards the bottom of page 3. Lace a piece of ivory ribbon through the holes so you can tie a knoy with the ends onto page two. Run a piece of blue ribbon through the ivory ribbon on page three and tie a knot. Add two flat brads onto the right side of page 4.
Pages 5 & 6:
1 Dark Brown cardstock 5 7/8” x 2 15/16”
2 ½” x 2” Aqua print
2 ½” x 2” Aqua plain
Scraps of gold print ad aqua plain to punch flowers.
Adhere one each of the aqua papers to the outside sides of the pages staggering one higher than the other. Adhere your recipes and then add punched flowers by putting a mini brad through the flowers to hold them together. Use foam tape on the back of the flowers to make them stand out.

A Busy Weekend and Now it is the Middle of the Week

I became obsessed over the weekend to clean the shelves in my stamp room. I should have taken before pictures but I didn't want anyone to see how big of a slob I am. Anyway, my stamp room is in the basement and where I hold my classes. It is by no means anything fancy...which suits me fine because we can get messy and no one cares. What I did was went through many clear containers and bags and organized them into racks that have divider boxes in them. The racks came from the craft store I worked at and managed for many years. We decided to retire a few years ago so I am utilizing the racks that were kept. The shelves on the one wall was already in the house when we bought it. I bought the other shelves at WalMart. I have pictures for you to see. Beware....I have tons of stuff and this is only part of the room.
I don't know when I will get ot the other side of the room. It isn't as big but it has stuff stashed everywhere. Geesh...it doesn't pay to be a pack rat. I threw away so much junk and gave away some stuff too. It sure makes me feel better. Now I hate to mess it up....LOL
I hope to have some ideas to share shortly. I really need to get this uploaded onto my computer. Have a great day!

Just a few things to Share

I thought I would share my Make & Takes from my retreat last week. I did four of them and made all of them super simple.

This little ornament is using a coin slide. I stippled the slide with L'Amore Red, Jardin Moss and Raw Sienna Palette pads. I stamped the peas on a white piece of cardstock and colored with colored pencils. I then adhered it between the slides. I punched a hole in the top with the Crop a dile; added a ribbon and brad and you're done.

The stamp set has just been discontinued by TAC.

This little snowman box is a die cut I got from Donna Polley at http://www.ka-diecuts.com/. She is really reasonable and quick. Not to mention she is also a TAC Demonstrator. The box is called a small pyramid box on her site.

This is a magnet calendar done on a coaster. The calendars came from a company called vippies. Their website is http://www.vippies.com/. This is the medium sized calendar. A fast project that would be great for craft fairs.

This is called a Z fold card. I used the floral dingbats set, More Abundance and the Hemingway Paper collection. This card is also in an older post so you may have already seen it.

We had a Shoebox Swap. We had 11 people get in it. This is the project I did. It is also a die cut from Donna Polley. The link for her site is above. I used the Simply Christmas set and Whimisical Greetings.

This is the purse I made from a wooden box I had bought and put in everyone's goodie bag. The post before this shows the contest winners purses. It was fun to see what everyone came up with.
See you all in a day or two. Have a good one!!!!!!
