Time to Share

We finally got some much needed rain in our area of Ohio. We could use a lot more but will take what we can get. Now back to smothering 90's and humidity. I will be glad to see Fall.

I worked on some swap stuff but will share later. What I am sharing today is a Chipboard book. It is a chipboard book we carry in the TAC catalog. It is called a Tea Break Chipboard Book. You can view it here: http://ritaholmes.ismyangel.net/Products/Default.aspx?cid=187&pid=110

I was asked by a very dear friend to make a special card for her husband's employer. She sent me $20 to do this. I thought my gosh...a $20 card and especially for someone I would hate to charge anything to. I decided to make something very special as the person receiving this book is very wealthy and in her 80's. I did the chipboard book with quotes in it. The recipient loved the book and I wanted to share a little bit of it here.

This is an overall view of the book

This is one of the pages with a quote. I put the quote on the left hand page and decorated the adjoining page and used the "Abundance Is" set along with other stamp sets.

This is the adjoining page.

I would show a picture of the front of the book but I must have deleted it off my camera before I uploaded them to my computer. I hate when I do those stupid things. Anyway I hope you enjoy the little bit that I showed.
I hope to have more to share tomorrow or the next few days. Until then...have a wonderful day or night depending on when you are reading this.

Another Day.....

In paradise....LOL I had a very productive day even with babysitting grandkids. I got one of the swaps done I am in. I will share that stuff later. I thought I would share some of my cards I did with the Rose Garden Set from TAC. One of my sister angels made a comment that she didn't like this set so I had to see what I could do with it. These are the cards I came up with. I actually had one more but will be using it for a swap so I don't want to share it just yet.
I think this set is very versatile. It can be used for any occasion and look nice. It can also be done in a multitude of colors and still have an elegant look. I highly recommend this set for something that can have many uses for different occasions.
That's it from me today. I am off to clean off my stamping table and try to be a little creative. Have a great day!

A Busy Weekend

It was a busy weekend but I did find some time to stamp. I had to do my class samples for the week and when they were all finished I decided to work on my Make N Take for my FUNshop this week. My sister is actually hosting the FUNshop. She is hosting a Recipe Scrapbook Page Swap with some of her co-workers so I asked her to have a FUNshop so I could show them how to stamp their recipe pages. For my Make N Take I am going to do a Recipe Scrapbook page with them. They are doing 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" pages so that is what I also did. I thought I would share it with you. I think it will be a fun Make N Take for them and hopefully they will love it.

Here is my sample: The first sample is without the "Abundance Words". I like the revised one better. I have always liked putting some kind of quote with my pages.

I have done several classes where we did recipe pages. I have been asked to do that again and think it may go on my September Calendar which I need to get done ASAP.

That's it from my stamping world. I will post my class samples that I finished this weekend another day.
