I am so BAD...here is my challenge card!

I have been so busy with getting ready for Vacation Bible School at Church that I forgot to post my challenge card for the Amuse Challenge Blog.  I did get it posted there but no here...geesh!

Anyway...here is the card I made.  I used the A Muse Stamp Set...Hey, Man!  I also used Onyx Cardstock, Cherry Petite Polka Dot Cardstock, Word Window Dies, Grass Die,  and the Stamp Set Say it with Style.  I colored the lawn mower with Copic Markers.

Hope you enjoy the card!  Sorry it is late on here.  You can always do this as a Masculine Birthday Card which is what I did for my hubby last week.

The challenge for the next two weeks is using a Sentiment as your focal point.  Below is my creation.  You should go check out the others and then give it a try.  You can get your name in for a free gift.

I used Blush cardstock, French Roast Gingham cardstock, French Roast Petite Polka Dot Pindot and Sugar Cardstock.  I also used the Scallop Border Die Set and the Labels Eight Nestabilities.  The stamp set I used was Just Because with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I embellished with French Roast 1/4" Organdy Polka Dot Ribbon and Shell and French Roast Buttons.  A very simple and cute card.

Thank You Blog Challenge

Just wanted to post my creation for the Blog Challenge over at the Amuse Studio Challenge Blog.  I am a new member to their design team and have started participating by sending ideas for their challenges.  This is a great group of consultants taking their time to share ideas and give inspiration.  Make sure you go and check it out.  There is a new challenge every other week.  You can also participate and hopefully win the prize that week!
Now for my Thank You card which is the challenge this week.  It is to get ideas for Thank You cards.

I love the colors of this card.  I used the bubblegum gingham cardstock, seattle cardstock, sage cardstock and sugar cardstock.  I embellished with a bubblegum button.  The stamp set is Handscripted with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I love our new flower dies also.  This is Flower Die Set 2.  It is such a great set because it has three different sizes of flower and leaves.  I can't seem to get enough of it right now.  Of course you can go to my Amuse Website to purchase any of the items you see here.
Thanks for visiting!!!!

Moving onto EASTER

I'm not a St. Patrick's type of gal so I am moving onto Easter ideas.  I love Easter and all the spring colors.  I had to move on and do some things.  I am in love with the Egg-Strvaganza Stamp Set and the Egg die and positioning plate die set.  I also love to decorate the "big" Hershey bars for different occasions and holidays.  Here is a close up of the eggs that I stamped and cut.  You will notice not all of them are perfect but in my stamping world...nothing is perfect in this world so why should my stamping be.  My classes love it and don't feel so compelled to be "perfect".

I used the Martha Stewart fringe scissors for my grass.  I love those scissors.  Although I love our grass die I think it needed more dimension on the grass so I chose the scissors.

Here is the candy bar:

I loved making these.  I did them over the weekend with a couple teenaged girls and they also had fun with them.  I hope you get a chance to try them.

Below is a list of the supplies I used:

Egg-Stravaganze Stamp Set SJEK006
Egg Die & Positioner Set  TAD0004
Essential Elements Stamp Set  SASU009
Gingham Cardstock (orange from assorted pack)  PAGHAST
Blackberry Ink Pad   IAPF702
Bubblegum Ink Pad  IAPF203
Ocean Ink Pad  IAPF602
Grass Ink Pad  IAPF503
Memento Black Ink pad  IMMP500

The paper for the candy bar wrapper is cut 6 3/4" x 8 1/2".  I only taped one side so the candy bar can slip in and out of the wrapper.  The grass is cut 1" x 6 3/4" and 1 1/2" x 6 3/4".  After I used the scissors I daubed some green on the grass for dimension.  Stamp the eggs as you desire and cut them out.  Place to your liking on your wrapper.  ENJOY!!!
